The Faculty of Information (FI) – Branch 2 hosted the Christmas table tennis and foosball tournament competitions, organized by Tania Daher, activities manager for both sections and coach in the sports activities department.
First-year data science students competed in table tennis. Jean-Jacques Hagopian won the title by defeating Jad Rostom in the final, while Antoine Sahyoun finished third by defeating Kevin Bejjani.
In table football, the duo Gabriel Boulos/second-year marketing and advertising student and Anthony Akiki/third-year marketing and advertising student defeated Majd Farah and Maria Farhat/second-year data science students.
The matches were organized on a single-elimination basis and brought together 45 students. The winners received their medals from the faculty director, Dr. Nisrine Zammar, and the faculty secretary, Madeline Mrad.
