President Bassam Badran appointed Dr. Marwan Mohieddine Kotob as Dean of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences – Branch 5, effective 8 October 2025.
Dr. Kotob holds a PhD in Law from Beirut Arab University and previously served as Dean of the faculty between 2018 and 2021.
Dr. Kotob published a number of books and research papers in the fields of financial law, taxation, public administration, and privatization of public utilities.
