The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Lebanese University celebrated the graduation of a new class of students (classes of 2023-2024 and 2024-2025) during a ceremony presided over by the president of the Lebanese University, Dr. Bassam Badran, and attended by the dean of the faculty, Dr. Issam Kassab, the President of the Lebanese Order of Pharmacists, Dr. Joe Salloum, members of the Order’s Council, representatives of the security services and the army, the pharmaceutical industry, figures from the academic and educational world, as well as a crowd of members of the Lebanese University and parents of the graduates.
After the Lebanese national anthem and the university anthem, students Theresa Abi Chaar and Nagham Mokachar spoke on behalf of the graduates and emphasized that the graduation ceremony was not so much a celebration of obtaining a degree as it was an affirmation of perseverance in the difficult conditions Lebanon is going through.
