Dr. Walid Rachidi, a graduate of the Lebanese University, was elected Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Grenoble in France.
The French university announced that the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Training & Research Unit Council held an election on 9 December 2025, during which Dr. Rachidi was elected Dean of the Faculty in the second round of voting. He will officially take up his duties on 19 January 2026.
The Lebanese University congratulates its graduate Dr. Rachidi on assuming this responsibility and considers his selection for this position a testament to his academic career, his efforts in research and teaching, and his contributions to the university and its students.
