Two students, Rana Hoteit and Jana Saab, from the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences, came first and second respectively in the “Essay” category of the Oscars for Arab and African Designers.
Rana Hoteit won first prize for a paper entitled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Future of Social and Human Interaction”, while Jana Saab won second prize for a paper entitled “Natural Language Processing: Shaping the Future of Content Writing”.
The Oscars bring together countries from all over the world. They are organized by the Lebanese Charitable Society for Educational and Cultural Renewal and the African Youth Parliament, on the occasion of the Year of Arab Youth and Beirut, Arab Media Capital 2023.
