The Scientific Council of the AUF awarded Dr. Pascale Salameh, from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the 2025 El Fassi Prize based on the recommendation of the jury.
The committee praised Dr. Salameh’s distinguished career and her advanced contributions in the fields of pharmacy and public health, as well as the impact of her scientific achievements in Lebanon and abroad.
Dr. Salameh holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Bordeaux in France and a PhD in Pharmacy from the Lebanese University. She has been the Head of the Research Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy since 2020.
Dr. Salameh is also a member of a number of national and international committees affiliated with WHO and the International Pharmaceutical Federation and has published more than 750 research papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals on topics related to medical epidemiology, clinical pharmacy, and public health.
