The Doctoral School of Science and Technology (DSST) has obtained Réseau Figure certification for a period of five years starting in November 2025.
For over a year and a half, with the support of the French Institute in Lebanon, DSST has welcomed experts from the Réseau Figure on several occasions, most recently last October, when the quality assurance team conducted its final evaluation.
The experts met with President Bassam Badran, Dean Kassem Hamza, members of the scientific council, directors of laboratories and research platforms, as well as a number of doctoral students, thesis supervisors, the administrative team, and representatives from the economic and social sectors.
Réseau Figure’s evaluation was based on a set of criteria, the main ones being:
- The DSST’s strategic vision: a clear strategy thanks to joint supervision agreements with prestigious European and international institutions
