Students from the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Faculty of Pedagogy (FP) – Branch 2/Lebanese University participated in the national conference organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports entitled “Towards a National Strategy for Sport in Lebanon,” accompanied by the head of the department, Dr. Tarek Assaf.
The conference brought together a group of experts and stakeholders from the sports sector, who examined the situation of sport in Lebanon and community sports initiatives, and presented ideas and suggestions for strengthening cooperation between schools, universities, non-governmental organizations, and local authorities in order to promote the role of sport in society.
